Well… I haven’t blogged in quite some time, so I think it’s time I did so.

Uni

Well… in spite of last year, UTAS let me into the Advanced version of the Science course, which I’m more than happy about, as it means that I’ve been allowed to do the acceleration that my Units studied in the HAP last year afforded me. So I’m starting 2nd-year programming units, along with my 1st year Maths, Chemistry and General Computing. I really can’t wait.

Unfortunately, I’m going to have to, since Uni doesn’t go back until late February.

Cricket

After the disappointment that the Poms gave me in my recent trip to Melbourne, I was hoping for some decent match-ups in the One-Dayers that were played in Hobart. As you know, Australia thrashed New Zealand. Luckily, the second match was a lot closer, but not an exciting sort of close. I will go so far as to say that this was the most boring summer of cricket I’ve ever witnessed. Oh well.

Australia Day

I spent my Australia Day at home, Listening to the Hottest 100 on Triple J. I spent the morning updating the Wikipedia entry for this year’s countdown, which was fun. Overall, I got 6 predictions inside the countdown, which is one-down on last year, with my top vote reaching number 4 (also one down on last year).

So that’s it for me today… More to come.
